Share the road with bicyclists in your area thanks to these helpful tips from Land Rover Roaring Fork.

You need to remember that bicyclists have rights to the road just like you do. They follow the same driving patterns and turns that you do.

Give the bicyclist next to you at least three feet of space if you need to pass them. Take your time to make sure that there aren't any other vehicles in the area that could force you to move too close to the person on the bike.

Refrain from honking your horn. This can take the bicyclist by surprise, causing them to fall off their vehicle or swerve into oncoming traffic.

Always take a quick peek in your side mirrors and rear mirror to see if there's anyone passing by your parked vehicle prior to you opening your door.
